Meliá Hotels International signed a 25-year lease for a hotel development on the eastern edge of Hamburg HafenCity. Landlord and developer is the WGF Westfälische Grundbesitz und Finanzverwaltung AG. The location of the new "Innside" Hotel is about 800 meters south of theHamburgmain station. The property at Högerdamm, parallel to Amsinckstraße, borders on a water-bearing channel and will have an own boat pier available for hotel guests. Along the canal a new "HafenCity-Boulevard" will connect the Högerdamm to the HafenCity, one of the most importantHamburgcity development areas in recent decades. The new "Innside" hotel is thus on a particularly preferred location.

Düsseldorf based development company WGF AG and its subsidiary Ilse Bau und Planung GmbH take charge of the project realisation of the new development with 205 hotel rooms on a gross floor area of 8.980 sqm. Construction will begin in 2013, completion is planned for 2015. In September 2010, WGF AG had acquired the land from aurelis real estate GmbH & co. KG.
