Global hospitality management chain Swiss-Belhotel International will further strengthen its portfolio of hotels and resorts in Asia Pacific and the Middle East with the opening of 20 hotels this year. The hotel management company will extend its range of two to five star brands into a number of international markets, including the Middle East where it will open two properties, the Swiss-Belinn Ghubrah Muscat in Oman and Swiss-Belhotel Riyadh in Saudi Arabia to add to its two operating hotels, the Swiss- Belhotel Plaza in Kuwait and Qatar's Swiss-Belhotel Doha.

Swiss-Belhotel International will also open two hotels in 2015, the Swiss-Belhotel Erbil in Iraq and the

Swiss-Belhotel Seef Bahrain, for a total portfolio of six in the United Arab Emirates within two years.

Indonesia is another key market of growth where Swiss-Belhotel International has a total of 37

operating hotels to which it will add a further 18 in 2014, including two in Bali, the Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar and the Swiss-Belinn Legian.

Over the next two years Swiss-Belhotel International will operate 97 hotels in Indonesia-destination

where it has been voted Indonesia's Leading Global Hotel Chain at the Indonesian Travel and Tourism Awards for the past four years.

Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President, Mr Gavin M. Faull, said he was excited about the

growth of the brand this year as it continued to attract owners and developers through its professionalism and high service standards.

The hospitality management chain is further eyeing growth across the region next year, where it plans

to add to its existing three hotels in China with three more opening in 2015 and another two to open in Vietnam in the same year to add to its popular Swiss-Belhotel Lao Cai which opened in 2013.

Southeast Asia also remains in the sights of the pioneering management firm with two Swiss-Belhotel

International branded hotels in the Philippines scheduled to open in 2015 and 2016 and further announcements to be made in Malaysia and Thailand.

The Pacific is an area of growth for the chain too, with the recent opening of Swiss-Belhotel Coronet

Peak in New Zealand, where an extensive refurbishment will be completed by the second quarter of 2014 and new opportunities in Australia to add to its single hotel operating there at present.
