Reserved Because They Served: Super 8 Introduces Veteran Parking at Nearly 1,800 Hotels across the U.S. and Canada
World’s largest economy hotel brand celebrates service men and women with new VIP parking and a special 20% discount during the month of November

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- This Veteran's Day and Remembrance Day, Super 8® is honoring the men and women of our armed services with a lasting commitment by implementing reserved parking spaces for veterans at every Super 8 hotel across the U.S. and Canada.
A continuation of Super 8's broader efforts to champion those who serve, the reserved parking, which spans all of the brand's nearly 1,800 hotels throughout the two countries, is prominently featured near each hotel's entrance. Complementing the installation of the signs is a special 20 percent discount for all active and retired military members – a 5 percent increase of the brand's standard military discount – during the month of November.
"Super 8 celebrates our greatest heroes every chance we can," said Mike Mueller, Super 8 brand senior vice president. "This idea came to life because of our team at the Super 8 in Adrian, Mich., whose maintenance manager is a U.S. Navy veteran. They first implemented veteran parking at their hotel earlier this year and when we learned of their efforts, and saw the incredible response they were getting from guests, we knew this was something we wanted to replicate across the brand."
In addition to designated parking spots, Super 8 offers a special discount for active and retired military members and their spouses; hosts Super 8 Salutes, private country music events featuring popular artists in intimate settings at military bases; and partners with Army Entertainment on the Super 8 Armed Forces Trivia Challenge, a live game-show experience for members of the military across select active military bases.
