Red Roof® Announces Debt-free Education Employee Benefit Program
Columbus, OH -- In support of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), Red Roof is partnering with Pearson, the world's leading education company, to create the Learning Pathways Program, providing debt-free education to its employees. The leading economy hotel chain will give away 100 scholarships in 2018, covering tuition, registration fees, books and school supplies.

The Learning Pathways Program will allow participants to complete a degree applicable to their ambitions with flexible and convenient educational options that fit their lifestyles and schedules through asynchronous learning. Courses will be delivered online and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week to make balancing work and class manageable and rewarding. Academic Support Coordinators will be available to assist employees as they study.
The program is part of a wider initiative by AHLA to provide employees in the hospitality industry with tools for career success. Research consistently shows that employees with Associate's Degrees earn higher wages and more promotions while boasting a significantly lower unemployment rate than those without them.
Red Roof chose Pearson as a partner for the program due to the company's track record of success in managed education strategy.
