Meliá Hotels International has earned Cristal International Standards certification for quality and safety in the operation of its five resorts in the Dominican Republic: The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real, Paradisus Palma Real, Paradisus Punta Cana, Melia Caribe Beach and Meliá Punta Cana Beach.

Certification recognises the work done by Meliá Hotels International to offer the best possible service in its hotels in the Dominican Republic and its commitment to the destination and efforts to ensure it offers the best hotel facilities in the country.

Meliá Caribe Beach and Meliá Punta Cana Beach - both recently renovated to raise quality standards and adapt them to the modern attributes of the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand - earned certification for food safety, swimming pool safety and water supply quality and safety (Food Check, Pool Check and Aqua Check, respectively).

In addition to the three areas mentioned above, Paradisus Punta Cana and The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana also received the Room Check certification.

Both the Paradisus Palma Real and The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real, in addition to Food Check, Room Check, Pool Check and Aqua Check certification, were also praised for their excellent work in fire safety and general safety procedures (Fire Check and Safety Check).

The newest hotel operated by Meliá Hotels International in the Dominican Republic, The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real, also received Cristal International Standards Room Check, Pool Check and Aqua Check certification.
