Best Loved Hotels, recently acquired by HotelREZ, has launched its new Global Hotel Alliance via Lanyon and Nexus World Services. The programme will provide hotels access to Best Loved Hotels' extensive high net worth customer base, driving incremental business through both bestloved.com and its GDS enabled programme and agency partner base.

From September, qualifying hotels can access new business building opportunities through Best Loved Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) programme membership. Qualifying hotels that apply for membership of Best Loved Hotels consortia will gain access to thousands of high-end loyal consumers who have been using Best Loved as the brand of choice for over twenty years. In addition to this, the Best Loved global agency programme works to generate incremental business from additional travel bookers, meetings and event bookers and corporate RFP business opportunities around the world.

HotelREZ purchased Best Loved Hotels for an undisclosed sum earlier this month and will be working to develop the brand globally, building on its heritage and significant brand recognition whilst expanding the offer for its members. The Lanyon and Nexus platforms will be utilised to solicit qualifying hotels to the Global Alliance Programme.

Since the acquisition was announced, a new Best Loved Hotels brand and website is in development and HotelREZ director, Nicolas Wijnants, has been appointed as Group Director Global Brands reporting to Daniel Simmons, CCO of HotelREZ. The new owners plan to drive significant growth across the Best Loved Hotels brand to become a recognised global hospitality name in the coming 12 months.
