Albert Bashir Wins 2019 CLIA Excellence in Lodging & Hospitality Award
California Lodging Industry Association announces that Albert Bashir, General Manager of the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chico has won the 2019 CLIA Excellence in Lodging & Hospitality Award for Outstanding Community Service.
SACRAMENTO, CA -- California Lodging Industry Association announces that Albert Bashir, General Manager of the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chico has won the 2019 CLIA Excellence in Lodging & Hospitality Award for Outstanding Community Service.
The award is an acknowledgement of Mr. Bashir's extraordinary efforts in aiding victims of the 2018 Camp Fire. His community work was so noteworthy that Mr. Bashir has received numerous other commendations including one from the White House.
The CLIA Award was presented at the annual CLIA Awards Ceremony on October 21, 2019 at the California Lodging Expo® and Conference at the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles-Commerce Casino. "We are proud of Albert's generosity and hard work in helping the fire victims who were displaced from their homes. This is the true spirit of hospitality" states CLIA President David Bowman.
