St. Paul, MN - HEDNA (the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) announced its 2020 Board of Directors and new members of the Executive Committee at its recent Global Distribution Conference in Los Angeles, California.

The HEDNA membership elected Ludovic Cacciapaglia, Vice President Distribution at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts; Sean Nygren, Senior Director, Distribution Solutions at Hilton; and Jayson Canady, Director, Global Head of Payments at Hyatt Hotels Corporation; to serve two-year terms on the HEDNA Board of Directors.

In addition, the Board of Directors elected Sebastien Leitner, Head of Strategic and Global Partnerships at Cloudbeds, to serve a three-year term as President of HEDNA; Nadine Pagel, Senior Director, Distribution and Voice at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, to serve a two-year term as Treasurer; and Jennifer Camarota, Director, IT Distribution Systems/Solutions Planning at Marriott International, to serve a two-year term as Secretary. Anne Cole, Senior Vice President, Content at RateGain, retains her position as Vice President.

Rounding out the Board are Ian Ackland, Regional Manager, Vacation Rentals at Booking.com; Mike Carlo, CEO & Founder at XanderPay; Anson Lau, Managing Director at Shiji Distribution; Audrey Murante, Director Sabre Corporation; Duane Overgaard, Vice President and GM, Connectivity at DerbySoft; and Chris Murdock, Director, Distribution System Support & Strategy NCA at Accor.

Sebastien Leitner takes over the position as President from Sarah Fults, who served as President from 2017 to 2020. "I am honored to follow in the footsteps of those who have led this association so well and to continue their work," said Leitner. "I look forward to working with the HEDNA membership to keep HEDNA current and relevant to all members. As I take over the reins from Sarah, my focus will be to move the association forward in the exciting and highly evolving landscape of hospitality and travel."

HEDNA holds global distribution conferences each year, trains hospitality professionals through its HEDNA University program and has several working groups that issue thought leadership on industry issues. Upcoming global distribution conferences in 2020 include HEDNA Amsterdam May 18-20 and HEDNA Bangkok in September.
