Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG) held its bi-annual board elections in February, re-electing 18 board members and 11 executive advisors. New board members include Brennan Gildersleeve, VP, technology for Equinox Hotels, Bryan Mitkowski, SVP, IT delivery at Marriott International and Weber Wang, IT GM and SVP at BTG Homeinns Hotel Group. David Teklit, CEO of Teklogix also joins as an executive advisor.

After serving over four years on HTNG's Board of Governors, Hard Rock International's VP of IT, Applications and Strategy, Wendy Mertz, will step into the vice president position following the retirement of Page Petry, chief IT officer, Americas, for Marriott International.

"Page has been an unbelievable supporter and contributor to our industry and HTNG for more than just the time she has served on our board and as vice president," said Michael Blake, CEO of HTNG. "We are sad to see her go but we all support her decision and are looking forward to Wendy furthering the direction of our organization."

Floor Bleeker, CIO, MEA & global strategic programs of Accor was re-elected as president, Mark Read, IT director of Firmdale Hotels as secretary and Yvette Vincent, CTO of Delaware North as treasurer. HTNG's Board of Governors now consists of 23 top IT leaders in hospitality companies across the globe.
