European Property Holdings acquire the Innside Dresden
Switzerland-based real estate fund European Property Holdings (EPH) has announced that it has acquired the 180-room INNSIDE Dresden from developers Norpexal Holding SA and Fibona GmbH. Located on the south bank of the River Elbe, the property was the first hotel in Germany to achieve LEED certification and is operated by Melia Hotels under a lease contract with an initial term expiring in 2029. The transaction represents EPH's second acquisition this year, following the purchase of the nHow Berlin in April 2020.
Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Rutland, UK sold to the Patel Family
Local family business owners Dineshbhai and Savitaben Patel have acquired the Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Rutland, near Birmingham in the UK. The 66-room property was sold by Derek Penman, off a guide price of £10 million (£151,000 per room), who has owned the hotel for the last 35 years. The lakeside resort is spread out over a 55-acre plot, and in addition to its 66 guest bedrooms, includes 49 timeshare lodges and 11 function suites, four bars and restaurants as well as a number of leisure facilities.
