Nyfosa acquires Connect Hotel Kista, Sweden from Estea AB

Swedish institutional investor Nyfosa has acquired a 16-property mixed-use portfolio in various locations across Sweden from local real estate fund Estea AB. The portfolio includes the 112-room Connect Hotel Kista, located within Stockholm's tech-focused Kista neighbourhood, also known as the European "Silicon Valley". Built in 1987, the hotel is leased to Swedish hotel operator Connect Hotels under a long-term lease agreement.

Grace Leo and Tim Hartnoll acquire the Red Lion Hotel in Henley, UK

Singaporean shipping entrepreneur Tim Hartnoll, and hotel advisor Grace Leo have acquired the 35-room Red Lion Hotel in Henley, 60 kilometres west of central London, from MG Hotels. Bought off a guide price of £7.5 million (£214,000 per room), the historic hotel is currently closed and is set to undergo extensive renovation. The new owners plan to add 5 rooms to the existing hotel, and aim to re-open the property as the Relais Henley in June 2021 ahead of the Henley Royal Regatta.
