A seasoned travel and hospitality IT executive with a highly successful 30-year track record of innovation and leadership in the global hotel technology sector, Van der Wardt will head up PROVision’s strategic growth initiatives in the European, Middle Eastern and African markets. He will also be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, while serving the firm’s rapidly expanding client base of B2B hospitality technology providers and hotel organizations in these key regions.

Prior to accepting his new position with PROVision, Van der Wardt held a variety of senior management roles at Amadeus, which he joined in 2015, following the acquisition of Itesso, a business he co-founded. After serving as Senior Vice President of International Sales for PMS/CRS solutions, he served as Head of Product Strategy for Amadeus’ next generation Cloud PMS. Most recently, he led a team of sales specialists in the EMEAI region for the Amadeus product portfolio focused on service optimization, sales & event management and property management systems. In addition to his successful tenure with Amadeus, Van der Wardt also co-founded Brilliant Hotelsoftware in 1992 and, over an 18-year period, built the company from a two-man startup to a globally recognized hotel technology company, providing trusted solutions to several of the world’s largest hotel chains.
