After five momentous decades, the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®) is stepping into its next era with four eventful Headliner Sessions, one each day of the event. The presentations each will provide a transformative perspective on how we do business. Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), HITEC Orlando will take place from June 27-30 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA.

On Monday, June 27, Simon T. Bailey will take the HITEC Orlando Headliner stage from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. to discuss his topic “Leading with SPARK.” He is a breakthrough strategist, motivational change agent and author. Simon has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including serving as sales director for Disney Institute, and has worked with more than 1,800 organizations in 50 countries. He understands the pressure leaders and high performers are facing in the midst of uncertainty and equips them with simple, easy-to-implement strategies to accelerate results.

The following morning, on Tuesday, June 28, Cheryl Cran will take the HITEC Orlando Headliner stage from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. to discuss her topic of “Super. Crucial. Human: A Framework for Creating What Comes Next.” Cheryl is an author and renowned tech workplace and leadership expert. She is the founder of NextMapping™/NextMapping.com and the CEO of parent company Synthesis at Work Inc. The common theme of all of Cheryl’s life’s work is a people first and digital second approach to create a more human future, helping companies to build the leadership capacity needed to change the world through business.

Wednesday, June 29 from 8:45 to 10:00 a.m., marks the return of HFTP’s hospitality technology start-up pitch competition: Entrepreneur 20X (E20X), sponsored by PROVision Partners. Presented on the HITEC Orlando Headliner stage, E20X features ambitious entrepreneurs presenting breakthrough business concepts to a room full of HITEC attendees as well as a panel of expert judges including hospitality CIOs, angel investors, serial entrepreneurs and industry insiders.

And capping off the eventful week on Thursday, June 30 from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. is the HITEC Orlando Closing Headliner: “CIO Panel Discussion.” The session will be an interactive Q&A discussion between hospitality CIOs covering their current tech strategies and areas of focus.
