In the United Kingdom, Radisson Hotel Group is celebrating the release in cinemas of DreamWorks Animation’s smash hit film, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, to give little ones bespoke in-room gifts, themed menus, and unique activations at hotel check-in. The partnership arrives to support the roll out of Radisson Hotel Group’s bespoke Rad Family kids’ program.

Following a successful launch in 2019, Radisson Hotel Group's family offering - Rad Family - continues to attract families with great offerings throughout all stages of the guest journey – from booking to arriving back home and re-living their memories with Radisson Hotels. Since 2019, internal performance data has shown a 70% increase in bookings with children in 2022 across Radisson Hotel Group hotels in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This significant trend has driven the roll out of the Rad Family program now to more than 100 hotels across EMEA. Plus, in 2022, Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow, and Radisson RED London Heathrow were in the top 10 hotels with children staying in their property across EMEA.

As part of the Group’s activation with DreamWorks Animation’s Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, which will take place across select UK Radisson Hotel Group properties, families also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a family getaway at a participating hotel. To enter, families need to find everyone’s favorite swashbuckling cat, Puss in Boots, in the hotel lobby before February 13th, take a selfie, and upload it to social media for a chance to win. Alongside the competition, families can enjoy in-room gifts for children staying in the hotels, themed children's menus, plus enjoy Puss in Boots: The Last Wish video promotion across displays and in-room TV promotion, with themed hotel lobby displays.

Across our family-focused properties in the UK and further afield, families will also enjoy the perks of the Rad Family kids’ program, where each guest is welcomed with personalized service and amenities. Upon arrival, kids receive a a welcome gift (soft ball, snap bracelet or a Lumi plush toy), a drink voucher and a welcome pack with specially designed gifts, including a booklet filled with quizzes and activities, as well as a passport where kids can collect stamps from different parts of the hotel, and get creative with a colorful box of stickers and crayons.

At breakfast, the Kid’s Corner includes a selection of parent-approved healthy comfort food to suit every palate, kids’ tableware, as well as crayons and a placemat to let their imagination run wild and kickstart the adventures for the day ahead. In the Family Rooms, complimentary kids’ bath products for children up to 4 years old, including hypoallergenic products, are available to make travelling as a family that little bit easier. Cribs for little ones can also be booked at all participating hotels without any additional cost, and children under 12 stay for free when sharing the room with their parents.
