McLean, VA – The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Commercial Strategy Week will take place in person in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from June 26-29, 2023. HSMAI’s Commercial Strategy Week is Leading the Way in connecting senior leaders in hotel marketing in meaningful conversations about the most important strategic issues facing the business today and in delivering the most comprehensive revenue optimization event for the hotel industry. The week’s events reflect the convergence of marketing, revenue optimization, and other commercial functions into new and evolving commercial strategy organizations inside many hotel companies.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of HSMAI providing educational conferences focused on marketing and revenue optimization. The HSMAI Marketing Strategy Conference, on June 27, will address the global trends and evolving customers and how they’re affecting hotel marketers, discuss what the future holds for marketing in hotels and explore the best practices to sharpen every-day skills and boost property performance. On June 28, HSMAI ROC Americas will delve into the latest traveler trends and insights, discuss travel data for maximizing revenue, address the global economic challenges and what these factors mean for hotels and travel, and share the best communication practices in the workplace.

“This year, we are looking forward to gathering the groundbreaking industry leaders together for the 20th anniversaries of HSMAI’s Marketing Strategy Conference and ROC Americas,” said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA, president and CEO, HSMAI. “This will be an exceptional week and a unique opportunity for marketing and revenue optimization leaders to strategize and discuss innovative and effective ways to drive revenue and increase profits and address the changing needs of the industry.”
