Accor brands celebrate a record-breaking achievement of over 1,850 awards in 2023

2023 proved to be a record year for Accor on a number of fronts. This included awards and accolades across the entire Group including Accor brands, hotels, business entities and people securing more than 1,850 honors globally.

This remarkable achievement underscores the company's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality, unique experiences, and innovative services. The collective efforts of Accor have garnered widespread acclaim, receiving prestigious industry awards from esteemed organizations such as Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes Travel Guide, Travel + Leisure, and the Michelin Star Guide, among others. 

The Group was awarded in various categories in 2023, including Excellence, Travel, Wellness, Food & Beverage, Sustainability, Innovation, Talent & Culture, and Design.

Key achievements for Accor included being named Spa Group of the Year at the World Spa & Wellness Awards and the Raffles brand honored as the #2 Best Hotel Brand globally by Travel + Leisure.

Among the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Fairmont Banff Springs ranked 3rd and 4th respectively among the Best Resort Hotels in Canada in 2023. The Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan ranked in the top 4 of Best Resorts in North Africa and the Middle East.

Raffles Singapore and The Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, were ranked among the World’s 50 Best Hotels. Accor also celebrated remarkable success at the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards 2023, with 87 of its properties and venues honored, including 16 achieving the coveted Five-Star rating.

Ennismore, an important and proud part of Accor, also stood out, with properties such as Mondrian Doha earning a Forbes Four-Star ratings, and several 21c Museum Hotels properties being recognized in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards and Travel + Leisure’s World's Best Awards.

Remarkably, Over 1,000 Accor properties were featured in the U.S. News & World Report 2023 Best Hotel Rankings, with many receiving the distinguished Gold Badge.

Nearly 200 Premium, Midscale & Economy properties were recognized in 2023, with honors from esteemed awards such as the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards, LIV Hospitality Design Awards, and The Michelin Guide.

Among the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards earned by Accor, highlights include the Swissôtel Al Murooj in Dubai being ranked the Best Urban Hotel of 2023 worldwide, and the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort in Vietnam was recognized as having the Most Unique Guest Experience of 2023 in Asia.

The JANN by Kirk Westaway restaurant at the Swissôtel The Stamford in Singapore was awarded 2 Michelin Stars.

The Mercure Bialystok in Poland won in the Interior Design for Midscale & Lifestyle category at the LIV Hospitality Design Awards.
