The competition reflects the highest standards of service; its rigorous and transparent evaluation system ensures an objective selection of both the most evident and the remarkably hidden talents.
This competition, and the path toward it, is an outstanding mentoring, development, and education program. Leading thirty editions of The David Campbell Trophy is the result of the strong commitment of nearly thirty members of the Competition Committee, which I had the honor to lead. Twenty outstanding receptionists. Twenty countries. Always worth it. Krzysztof Studziński, WBRC Chief Judge at AICR
The competition is a full-day, comprehensive, multi-stage arena for the most outstanding hospitality talents. Each participant is assessed across two distinct Front Office evaluation areas (scenario-based role plays) and two Back Office evaluations (activities essential to the operational performance of the property). The most distinguished arena for the enhancement of professional experience is the so-called “Family Room.” Participation in this space is not subject to evaluation; instead, it fosters the development of lasting relationships. Our finalists will be delighted to share more about this unique environment.
The World’s Best Receptionist by Bucherer competition continues to inspire young professionals to elevate service standards and celebrate the art of hospitality. Congratulations to all participants, finalists, and winners for their remarkable achievements!
