TRIBE Releases NEW GROUNDS

A limited-edition vinyl capturing the social energy of tribe hotels and the rhythm of modern travel

TRIBE launches a limited-edition double LP, NEW GROUNDS, and vinyl listening stations across hotels in Paris, London, Düsseldorf, and Budapest, partnering with local record stores to position hotels as cultural destinations.

Following the launch of TRIBE Vinyl Club in April, design-led hotel brand TRIBE is unveiling its first-ever vinyl release, NEW GROUNDS – a double LP created in collaboration with Radio Nova and released in a limited run of 1,000 copies worldwide.

Designed to bring music back into the centre of hotel social spaces, TRIBE Vinyl Club introduces dedicated vinyl listening stations across selected TRIBE addresses, from Paris to London, Düsseldorf and Budapest. Guests can explore curated vinyl collections within hotel lounges, transforming music from background ambience into a more intentional and shared cultural experience.

Each participating TRIBE hotel has partnered with local independent record stores, allowing them to connect more deeply with their local cultural scenes through initiatives such as live music showcases, artist meet-and-greets, community discussions, listening sessions, and vinyl sales. Selected record stores also feature TRIBE listening stations, including Major Tom at Ground Control in Paris, Tiki Vinyl Store in Lyon, and Rough Trade East in London, where visitors can discover and purchase copies of NEW GROUNDS alongside curated vinyl selections.

Conceived as a sonic journey shaped by movement, exploration and connection, NEW GROUNDS translates the rhythm of travel into music. Structured across four sides — Unveil, Discover, Connect, Drift — the record mirrors the natural progression of a journey, from arrival and discovery through to connection and escape.

The double LP brings together artists spanning generations, genres, and geographies, including Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Brian Eno & John Cale,Danny Brown, Martina Topley-Bird, and Khruangbin.

Each side features an unreleased track created exclusively for TRIBE, giving the record a rare and collectible dimension. These exclusive productions include IS THIS LOVE? by Principles of Joy, CAROUSEL by Hendrix Harris, SANS SOLEIL (DESERTED ISLAND NEW GROUNDS REMIX) by Golden Bug, and IMPOSSIBLE LOVE by Get A Room! & Paprika Kinski - reflecting a different emotional moment within the journey imagined through NEW GROUNDS.

New Grounds is our clearest statement yet that social spaces should have a soul, and that a hotel can be a genuine cultural destination. The official launch of NEW GROUNDS will take place on 28 May 2026 at TRIBE London Canary Wharf, bringing together music lovers, creatives and the local community for an evening of vinyl-only DJ sets and live performances.

NEW GROUNDS will be available to purchase at select TRIBE hotels and partner record stores across Europe and beyond.
