Ares and EQ sell Novotel London Greenwich
Global investment manager Ares Management and pan-European hotel investor and operator EQ Group have sold the four-star, 151-room Novotel London Greenwich in the UK. The property is situated across the River Thames from Canary Wharf, next to Greenwich Station, and includes a restaurant, bar and six meeting rooms. Ares and EQ acquired the hotel in 2024 as part of a 21-property portfolio purchased from Landsec for £400 million.
Servatur acquires Allegro Isora hotel in Tenerife, Spain, from HIP
Spanish owner-operator Servatur Hotels & Resorts has acquired the four-star, 312-room Allegro Isora hotel in Tenerife, Spain, from Spanish hospitality company Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), majority owned by American private equity firm Blackstone along with Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC. The property is situated on the island’s southwest coast in the resort area of Playa de la Arena, about a 30-minute drive from Tenerife South Airport. The hotel includes a restaurant, two bars and three swimming pools. Servatur plans to extensively renovate the hotel and rebrand it as Servatur Isora Suites.
First Atlantic and Signa acquire Lindenhof Resort in South Tyrol, Italy
Italian private equity firm First Atlantic Real Estate, together with Italian real estate investment company Signa SpA, has acquired the five-star, 70-room Lindenhof Pure Luxury & Spa DolceVita Resort in Naturno, Italy. The property is situated in South Tyrol in northern Italy, near the Austrian border and the Ötztal Alps. The hotel includes a restaurant, bar and a 5,000 sqm wellness area including eight swimming pools. The new owners plan to appoint a global operator to manage the hotel from 2027 onwards.
Extendam and Ker Hospitality sell 1932 Hotel & Spa Cap d'Antibes in France
French private equity firm Extendam, together with its operating partner Ker Hospitality, has sold the four-star, 64-room The 1932 Hotel & spa Cap d'Antibes - MGallery Collection in Antibes, France to an undisclosed family office. The property is situated within Cap d’Antibes, a 25-minute drive from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and 30-minute drive from Cannes-Mandelieu Airport. The hotel includes two restaurants, a bar, spa and two meeting rooms. After acquiring the property in 2021, Extendam and Ker extensively renovated and repositioned it in 2022, elevating it from a three-star to a four-star hotel and bringing it into Accor’s MGallery Collection.
Morgans Group acquires The Harper hotel in Langham, UK, from local hotelier
British owner-operator Morgans Group has acquired the The Harper, a 32-room hotel in Langham, UK, from British hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott. The property is situated about three hours drive northeast of London by the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. The hotel includes a restaurant, bar, spa and events room. Cutmore-Scott opened the hotel in 2021 after investing £6 million (£187,500 per room) into the former glass blowing factory to transform it into a hotel. The hotel was awarded a Michelin Key in 2024.
