Today, the Hinteregger family announces the launch of SAN SONNEA, a new Italian luxury hospitality collection debuting with three distinctive destinations across Northern Italy. As part of the launch, the acclaimed Sonnwies Dolomites officially becomes SAN SONNEA Family Dolomites, joined by SAN SONNEA Lodge Dolomites, an adults-only retreat opening later this year, and Borgo SAN SONNEA Lake Garda, an intimate lakeside hideaway.

The flagship of the collection, SAN SONNEA Family Dolomites remains one of Italy's leading luxury family resorts, nestled amidst forests, meadows and the hotel’s own farm at the foot of the Dolomites.  This summer, the property unveils its most ambitious expansion to date, introducing a trio of significant additions that further elevate its nature-based family experience.

New highlights include:

• A new Equestrian Centre, featuring elegant Haflinger horse stables, a spacious indoor riding arena, rider lounge, and educational riding experiences designed to foster confidence, empathy, and connection between children, animals, and nature.

• The new Forest Spa, opening this summer as a holistic wellness sanctuary offering an Onsen Pool overlooking the forest, mindfulness programming, and immersive healing rituals and treatments rooted in Alpine botanicals.
