WellVibes 2026 offers hospitality, travel, wellness and spa professionals a new framework for designing experiences around what guests increasingly seek: not simply amenities or treatments, but meaningful feelings and states of wellbeing.

The White Paper, developed by HTWWlife, combines its Wellbeing Experience (WX) Design approach with Accor’s experiential travel “Vibe Menu.” It translates eight emerging experiential travel trends into wellbeing-focused opportunities spanning physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual and ecological dimensions.

The eight WellVibes are: •

  1. Collective Transcendence — creating shared moments of awe and wonder.

  2. Salutogenic Play — using playful, sensory-rich experiences to inspire joy.

  3. Somatic Autonomy — enabling travellers to maintain personalised wellness routines wherever they go.

  4. Social Co-regulation — designing communal rituals and spaces that foster connection and belonging.

  5. Cognitive Anchoring — using heritage, tradition and analogue experiences to counter digital fatigue.

  6. Biophilic Homeostasis — reconnecting guests with nature and natural rhythms. • Adaptive Neuroplasticity — introducing safe spontaneity and unexpected discovery into the guest journey.

  7. Adaptive Neuroplasticity — introducing safe spontaneity and unexpected discovery into the guest journey.

  8. Optimised Longevity — redefining prestige through personalised health, vitality and longevity experiences.

For operators and developers, the report points to a fundamental shift in wellness hospitality: move beyond selling individual spa treatments and amenities and design around the deeper motivations of the guest. Applications range from communal sauna rituals, forest bathing and heritage-based wellness to personalised in-room fitness, longevity programmes and unexpected local wellness discoveries.

“WellVibes are not the solutions: They are the beginning,” the White Paper concludes, positioning the framework as a starting point for product innovation, experience design and operational development across hospitality, wellness, leisure and tourism.
