Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) announces a two-day event coordinated by its AI Collective, taking place February 2–3, 2027 in the greater Dallas area. Members of the HFTP AI Collective will join industry experts to examine how AI is changing hospitality operations, finance and technology. The event arrives as hospitality organizations face growing pressure to adopt AI responsibly while managing new risks.
AI agents now read our email, book our meetings and act without being asked. Leaders need clear rules for what these tools can touch. This event is where we start writing them.
Michael Goldrich, AI Collective co-chair and founder of Vivander Advisors LLC
The program covers both the promise and the challenges of AI. Sessions are built for hospitality leaders who want practical guidance they can bring back to their teams.
The agenda includes focused sessions:
Enterprise Governance, which examines how organizations can build policies and oversight for AI use.
AI and Intellectual Property, which examines ownership, licensing and legal questions around AI-generated content.
AI Collective Updates, which will be presented by the group’s members and cover their recent progress and initiatives.
AI ABCs, which serves as a foundational session clarifying key terms and concepts.
Roundtable, which gives participants an interactive opportunity to exchange ideas and real-world experiences with other attendees.
AI’s Darkside, which is a candid look at security threats, bias, misuse and other risks that come with AI adoption.
This event is a chance to move past the headlines and talk honestly about what AI means for our industry. By bringing Collective members and industry experts into the same room, we can share what's working, flag what isn't and help hospitality professionals make smarter decisions. I'm thrilled to see these conversations come together in Dallas.
Shannon McCallum, AI Collective co-chair and RVP North America Applications Gaming at Oracle
HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe emphasized, "AI is reshaping how hospitality businesses operate, from the back office to the guest experience. Our members need clear, trusted information to use these tools wisely and securely. The AI Collective gives our community a place to learn, ask tough questions and lead the way forward."
The event conference fee will be $399 USD for HFTP members and members of the AI Collective and their respective organizations. The fee for nonmembers is $499.
