Paathz Officially Launches: Hospitality Hiring Infrastructure Goes Live Across Asia and Europe
After a successful beta that grew its community to 50,000+ hospitality professionals, Paathz launches its AI hiring platform with match scores, a hospitality taxonomy and built-in hiring tools.
Paathz, a hospitality-specific hiring platform, has launched fully across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines) and Europe (Switzerland, Spain), with 50,000+ candidates and 1,100+ properties onboard.

The launch in October 2026 follows the Paathz Beta, which opened in July 2026 across seven markets. More than 30,000 hospitality professionals had joined Paathz before a single employer role went live, and the community has continued to grow, now surpassing 50,000 candidates.
The beta was designed to gather feedback. Within two months, more than 1,100 properties had joined, more than 15 hires were made through the platform, and applicant screening time fell by more than 80%. Employers and job seekers actively used the platform, and their feedback went directly into shaping the version launching today: clearer match scores, a deeper hospitality taxonomy, and a faster route from CV to profile completion.
Having worked in hospitality, I know how much the right team matters. Whether you’re hiring for a hotel, restaurant or cruise line, a job title on a CV tells you very little about the environment someone has worked in or what they can bring to your team. We built Paathz to make that experience easier to understand, help employers find relevant people and give candidates a clearer view of their applications. The hiring decision stays with the people who know their business best.”

What Does the Paathz Hiring Platform Include?
Paathz combines a structured candidate profile, hospitality-specific talent matching, and built-in recruitment tools in one platform.
The Paathz profile. At the heart of the platform is Paathz Profile, a structured hospitality profile that goes beyond the traditional CV, compiling experience, skills, languages, availability, mobility, work rights, and career preferences, alongside short video answers to better represent the candidate. The process takes job seekers, from CV upload to completed profile, around two minutes.
Match scores. Paathz scores all applicants against the role’s requirements and the property’s context, including location, service standard, and role type. Employers see applicant scores out of 100, and each score comes with an explanation broken down in five categories.
A hospitality taxonomy. The Paathz taxonomy maps 106 hospitality roles and 2000+ skills, including soft skills, so candidates can be compared on equal footing.
Video interview questions. A bank of 110 role-relevant questions across 68 roles helps candidates show presence and communication skills that a traditional CV cannot.
Recruitment tools. Paathz includes a light applicant tracking system (ATS), messaging and interview scheduling, so employers can run hiring from application to the final offer in one place.
Multi-property dashboard. Hotel groups can easily track and manage hiring across multiple properties to stay ahead.
Application transparency. At any time, candidates can see whether their application has been viewed, shortlisted, or moved forward throughout the entire process.
Why Hospitality Recruitment Needs a Different Approach:
The founders at Paathz have experienced the flawed hospitality hiring system from both sides, as employers and as talent, and have identified a common issue. Hospitality employers receive large numbers of applications, but more applications do not translate into better hires. The beta confirmed this: with applicant screening time down by more than 80%, it showed that the main problem is visibility, as strong candidates are too often overlooked or hard to identify.
A CV showcases job titles and dates but rarely shows the operational context behind them. A receptionist at a 250-room business hotel and one at a 50-room luxury property share a title but not a job. Paathz captures these differences so matching reflects them.
Hiring in hospitality is often handled by HR teams, department heads, or general managers who also run daily operations. Paathz is designed to cut the time they spend on screening and combing through thousands of applicants to find the handful who are truly qualified.
Where Is Paathz Available?
Headquartered in Singapore, Paathz is the intelligent infrastructure layer for hospitality hiring and is available to employers and talent in Southeast Asia and Europe. In Southeast Asia, its operating markets are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore. In Europe, Paathz is present in Switzerland, and Spain. Paathz also lists onboard hospitality roles with MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys, from culinary and bar positions to guest services, spa and hotel management. The firm has ambitious plans for expansion on the horizon.
Paathz supports cross-border hospitality hiring, and candidates can explore opportunities by location through the platform’s map-based search feature.
How Does Paathz Use AI in Hiring?
Paathz uses AI to support hiring teams, not to make hiring decisions. The AI conducts tasks like organising candidate information, identifying relevant signals, and surfacing profiles that might otherwise be missed. All final decisions, whether rejecting, shortlisting, or hiring, will always be made by the recruiters or hiring managers who understand their business best.
The matching algorithm focuses on factors that predict success, such as skills, experience, education, location, and language, and strictly excludes protected attributes such as age, religion, and gender. Employers are provided with clear explanations for each match score to understand the candidate’s ranking.
How Can Hotels, Restaurants, and Candidates Join Paathz?
Hotels, resorts, and restaurants can register at Paathz.com or contact a member of the founding team (details listed below). Paathz offers three subscription tiers for employers: basic pay-per-job plans for single properties, per-site subscriptions for hotel groups of up to ten sites, and enterprise contracts for larger organisations. Prices are subject to change and are adjusted to each market.
For hospitality professionals, Paathz is free. Candidates can build a profile, record video answers, and apply to hotel and restaurant jobs across all Paathz markets today.
