Antigua & Barbuda is a twin-island state comprised of three separate islands: Antigua (An-TEE-ga), Barbuda (Bar-BYOO-da) and Redonda (Re-DON-da). However, Redonda is only inhabited by seabirds, hence the extent of the State’s name — Antigua & Barbuda. St. John’s (capital of the state) is home to the seat of government, international trade and commerce. Codrington is the capital of Barbuda.
