Kixby
Located in New York City’s trending Midtown neighborhood, Herald Square, the Kixby hotel combines classic Manhattan elegance with modern sophistication, a nod to its namesake character, Mr. Kixby, who embodies this spirit. The hotel is housed in a historic Beaux-Arts building constructed in 1901 that was once known as the luxury Collingwood hotel and, most recently, Hotel Metro.
Kixby’s 195 guest rooms, or “bedrooms,” are designed with thoughtful details, a periwinkle blue and charcoal gray palette, and oak furniture custom crafted by Amish and Menonite carpenters in Ohio. Acclaimed architecture and design firm, Rockwell Group, designed all of Kixby’s public spaces, embracing the building’s history and style, and adding layers of modern details to create a vibrant, contemporary environment.
The hotel is also home to the flagship Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer on the ground floor, serving its signature burgers and CrazyShake® milkshakes, and housing NYC’s first standalone CrazyShake® Bar. Connected to the lobby is Lot 15, a bar and lounge operated by the Black Tap team, and located atop Kixby is The Lookup, another brainchild of Black Tap Founder Chris Barish. The rooftop bar offers cocktails mixed by pioneer mixologist Pamela Wiznitzer and the city’s best views of the Empire State Building. For more information, visit kixby.com.
