Located on more than 32 beautiful, wooded acres along Accotink Creek in Northern Virginia, The Virginian (liveatthevirginian.com) is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation. The current buildings and grounds will be completely reimagined and transformed into new, luxury independent living apartment homes and a complete continuum of care, including assisted living, memory care, long term nursing and skilled nursing.

Renovations will be completed in phases through Fall 2022. Tours are currently available to prospective residents who will be able to choose new rental units beginning in May 2021. The Memory Care Unit will be the first under development with completion by June 2021.

The resort-style community will emphasize advanced technology and sustainability, lifelong learning and exceptional healthcare services to create a new standard in continuing care. The new development will honor the old town charm of colonial Virginia with a new, hospitality-inspired design and contemporary flair. The property is managed by Life Care Services® (LCS) and will offer many LCS signature programs including Heartfelt CONNECTIONS Memory Care Program®, EverSafe 360° safety and security program and EverClean 360° which focuses on clean spaces.

The Virginian will feature all new high-end amenities and programs, multiple dining venues, a wine cellar, sports bar, indoor golf simulator, state-of-the-art theater, entertainment venues, three full-service salons, technology areas, spa and swimming pool. Outdoor areas will include space for pickleball, bocce ball, a putting green, dog park and fire pit area.
