The Claremont

The Claremont is one of Maine’s most historic hotels, ideally situated at the mouth of Somes Sound and near Acadia National Park. The property, which originally opened in 1884, is currently undergoing an extensive transformation under new ownership. Once complete in May 2021, the hotel will feature a total of 51 accommodations including suites, cottages and guest rooms, an intimate spa, a heated swimming pool, and four food and beverage outlets.
