The Harcourt Collection

The Harcourt Collection comprises five hotels located in four countries and two continents, united by one culture focused on providing exceptional service. The Collection currently comprises: The Titanic Hotel Belfast, The Titanic Hotel Liverpool, Lough Eske Castle Hotel in Co. Donegal, Redcastle Hotel & Spa in Co. Donegal, and Carlisle Bay, Antigua. The diversity of the hotel portfolio enables Harcourt to offer a comprehensive range of guest experiences including city, heritage, country, beach, family, and leisure breaks. 

The Harcourt Collection was created, and is still managed to this day, by Founder Patrick Doherty and his family. While each location boasts its own distinct charm, whether it’s an Irish castle or a luxurious Caribbean beach resort, the underlying culture focused on guests and hospitality remains unwavering. As part of one of the largest family-owned companies in Ireland, the collection prides itself on its rich heritage and commitment to exceptional service.

The Harcourt Collection began in 1986 when Founder Patrick Doherty bought Redcastle Hotel & Spa. In subsequent years, with an eclectic eye and passion for place, Patrick gradually expanded the collection to embrace the properties that he is still involved in managing to this day, along with members of his family. The sense of hospitality that is so inherent in Irish culture is something which underpins each hotel within the collection and is a value that flows through the company’s staff, ensuring that every guest, in every hotel, always receives a warm welcome and exceptional personal service.
