The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is located on the Coleraine campus in an area of outstanding natural beauty and in close proximity to the world heritage site of the Giant’s Causeway. It also has a base on Ulster's Belfast campus (York Street), overlooking St Anne's Cathedral in the bustling Cathedral Quarter of the city. The Department is recognised as centre of academic excellence (QAA Subject Review Score 23/24). It is currently in the top two UK universities for Travel, Transport and Tourism ( Guardian University Guide 2012). The Department offers a range of courses, covering several sectors of the service industries. These include BSc honours degrees in International Hoteland Tourism Management, International Hospitality Management and Culinart Arts Management, delivered on the Belfast campus. International Travel and Tourism Management, Leisure and Events Management and Consumer Studies are offered on the Coleraine campus. The BSc honours degree International Travel and Tourism Studies is also offered with a modern languages specialism: French, German or Spanish. Programmes at Masters level are Event Management, Cultural Management, International Hospitality Management and International Tourism Development.
