This innovative program integrates the technical knowledge and practical experience of a diploma program with general management concepts and professional knowledge offered through the university degree program. The four-year program is designed with components from both a technical institution or college (2 years) and the University of Calgary (2 years), requiring students to progress through two stages of selection. Students must first be accepted for, and complete, a two-year diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management (or equivalent) from a recognized post-secondary institution.
