Lycée Hôtelier de La Rochelle
The La Rochelle Hotel School opened its doors in 1986. It is located in the heart of the university campus, facing the Atlantic ocean. The Hotel School trains students for the various aspects of the restaurant and hotel professions. To allow students to practice in real professional situations, there is also a hotel and an excellent restaurant, both open to the public. There are 700 students enrolled at the School, and half of them have accommodation in the School’s residences. The courses vary in length between two and five years. The youngest students are 14 years old, and the oldest have already taken their ‘A’ levels (Baccalaureate) and are studying for the BTS advanced diploma. We are a dynamic School, very much open to the rest of the world. We have links with other European and American Hotel Schools, and many students complete their industrial placements abroad.
