Hotelito Takes Community- and Sustainably Oriented Hospitality to the Next Level

Located near the Mexican coastal town of Zihuatanejo, Hotelito is an integral part of the new, sprawling MUSA development: a utopian vision by Mexico City-born designer Andrés Saavedra and Canadian entrepreneur Tara Medina. The hotel offers access to everything MUSA has onsite, from a bio-pool to organic farms and a destination dining outlet, but it is also a hideaway in its own right. The 13-room beachfront hotel is characterized by clean lines and a natural approach to minimal design, where panoramic ocean views are backdropped by a labyrinthine jungle and dancing palms; where private plunge pools are complemented by saltwater stargazing tubs; and where conscious travel is defined by understated luxury and a steadfast commitment to the local environment.

January 2023 will see the opening of Hotelito by MUSA

January 2023 will also see the opening of Hotelito by MUSA, south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The 13-bedroom hotel is an integral part of an inspired paradise rooted in intention, pleasure, and good design that is also home to private residences, organic farms, a beach club, pickle ball courts, and freshwater bio pool, plus workspaces, a recording studio and a media arts hub soon to come. The hotel is located on a raw and unobstructed section of ocean coastline, although a walk through the property's lush footprint reveals a serene saltwater lagoon on the opposite end. The MUSA community is a place where life, work, wellness, and pleasure coexist in effortless synergy; where modern and minimal architecture, with organic accents from hand-crafted, locally sourced, natural materials, pay homage to the heritage of the land and ground guest experiences in a connection to the landscape.
