Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, today announced México's first Hyde hotel and branded residences to be built in Mazatlán, a Mexican coastal resort town along the Pacific shoreline in the state of Sinaloa. The project is being developed in collaboration with owner, Daniel Cárdenas Family, an international agriculture company based in Sinaloa with more than 70 years of experience exporting vegetables to the US and Canada. This news comes on the heels of Accor's recent announcement regarding its planned venture with Ennismore, which will see the creation of one of the world's largest and fastest growing lifestyle operators set to include Hyde Hotel & Residences.
The highly anticipated 195-room hotel will be the first fully new-built Courtyard by Marriott resort in the Caribbean & Latin America region and the third in the world. Set on a 50,000 square-foot oceanfront compound, it will also be the first Marriott branded property in the city of Mazatlán, located in the Zona Dorada, or the Golden Zone.

(NASDAQ: MAR) announced today the signing of agreement with Inmobiliaria Turistica de Mazatlan to bring Marriott International's rapidly growing Courtyard brand to Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. Construction of the 200-room Courtyard property is set to begin in late 2016 and it is expected to open in 2019. The hotel is owned by Inmobiliaria Turistica de Mazatlan, S.A. and managed by Marriott International. Once completed, Courtyard Mazatlán will be poised to attract business travelers by offering a refreshing ambience that helps guests stay connected, productive and balanced while traveling.
