Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Birmingham and Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown, bringing a total of 210 new rooms to the heart of downtown Birmingham. Located in the state's largest and most populous city, Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Downtown complements Alabama's bustling tourism industry, which is growing at twice the rate of the state's general economy*.
