niu Bricks

In the elegant Hamburg neighbourhood Eppendorf, NOVUM Hospitality is planning a new hotel of the millennial brand niu in the midst of imposing architecture and an abundance of water and green spaces. The niu Bricks in Eppendorf will be the third niu in Hamburg, after the niu Keg in Wandsbek and the niu Rough in Horn. Together with the S&P Commercial Development GmbH – a Sontowski & Partner Group company – the Hamburg Group is developing the 192-room niu Bricks in Osterfeldstrasse, to be completed by autumn 2019. The niu Bricks is the prelude to continued collaboration in the future.

In the Eppendorf niu – niu Bricks – the atmosphere combines all the attributes that one associates with urban living, contemporary style and human nature – absolutely in keeping with the popular district. The name "Bricks" was inspired by the red brickwork found everywhere in Eppendorf. In the niu Bricks, Hamburg's brick architecture forms a symbiosis with the interior: here, a rough brick facade makes reference to the neighbouring buildings, thus creating an urban yet rustic loft character. A reception counter in a puristic industrial design and a spacious lounge with leather sofas and flexible pouffes invite guests to relax, work or meet with friends – everything is open and alive. Eclectically assembled pieces of furniture surprise you wherever you look, yet complete the unique, cosy atmosphere. A masterful and exciting mixture of styles, combining different elements in a well-balanced, sophisticated way. In addition, Hamburg – the gateway to the world with a green lung – is reflected in the hotel in its stylish plant partitions: these are essential protagonists in the new niu. Scandinavian vintage-design cushions, rustic wood elements, such as coffee tables – with and without castors – as well as sideboards in a metallic look, serve as accessories. From Living Lobby to Bistro to the Smart Room – Eppendorf charm permeates the entire hotel. And it isn"t just the design concept that is omnipresent: ultra-fast WiFi, USB ports, an integrated power supply and trendy background music are available everywhere.
