Overlooking the picturesque Durgam Cheruvu Lake, ITC Kohenur's super-premium offerings include 271 hi-tech rooms, ranging from luxe Grand Presidential Suites to women's only EVA rooms and a dedicated wellness rooms - a first for the brand. Dining options feature six food and beverage outlets including a rooftop bar and Dum Pukht Begum's, offering a regional Hyderabadi take on the brand's beloved restaurant. The property will also house the Collection's acclaimed Kaya Kalp - The Royal Spa and over 42,500 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space.
UNIQUE DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE
Standing at the crossroads of technology and culture, ITC Kohenur's multifaceted design draws inspiration from its namesake, meaning "Mountain of Light" in Persian. Its unique angular structure stands tall, each facet shining bright, aimed at capturing maximum sunlight to conserve energy. Endeavoring to offer a "sense of destination" the compilation of elements bring to life art, culture, cuisine and heritage of the region in a contemporary milieu.
The innovative geometric interpretation is carried throughout the hotel's public areas, guest rooms and corridors. Bold gemstone colors compliment the white marble accents and the smooth golden textures inspired by the striking natural rock formations of Hyderabad, originally formed by volcanic stones. Creative art installations adorn the public spaces utilizing Hyderabadi bangles, as well as famous Bidri metal handicrafts and Zardozi embroidery, showcasing local arts and crafts, adding to the rich cultural legacy of the region. As part of ITC's sustainability efforts and "Responsible Luxury" mantra, ITC Kohenur utilizes 100 percent LED lighting and a solar strategy has been integrated into its design, complete with vertical gardens and a living roof. The luxury hotel features 271-rooms with nine luxurious suites, including a palatial 4,000 square foot Grand Presidential Suite, women's only EVA suites and 27 serviced residences. Inspired by the famed Jewels of the Nizam, each room is outfitted in a different gemstone color with dark woods and lush fabrics as well as detailed woodwork.
A first for the Collection, ITC Kohenur will debut a series of wellness rooms. Each of the 13 rooms are outfitted with Vitamin C showers - a first for the brand - and in-room plants to improve air quality. Daily "mindful turndown" service by "Wellbeing Associates" will cater to individual guest need while gym kits and health-focused mini-bars that subscribe to ITC's ethos of being "Caringly Selected, Mindfully Prepared," mantra will be featured. Emphasizing ITC Hotel's brand of "Sleep" programming, ITC Kohenur also offers curated menus and a sleep ensemble designed to aid a good night's rest.
Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology so guests can access a host of in-room features (lighting, temperature, TV channels, online content and more) via ITC's entertainment and room automation app.
