City of Allen officials and Dallas-Fort Worth notables, developers, business people, and North Texas influencers alike gathered for the topping off celebration of the first-ever Texas location of Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center and what will be the first Delta new build by Marriott in the United States upon its completion. Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center with 90,000 square feet of flexible and state of the art meeting space will open in January of 2019. This location will be the brand standard for the Delta Hotels by Marriott brand going forward.

The project is a public-private partnership between the City of Allen, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Altera Development, Allen Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and Benchmark Global Hospitality. During the celebration, it was announced that the Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen will house Terrell Hall, the convention center hall named after Allen Mayor Stephen Terrell.

The 300 room, six-story Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center will offer the "bare maximum" of luxury amenities, celebrity-chef driven cuisine by celebrated Chef Stephan Pyles, an expansive pool and patio, proximity to high-end shopping and dining at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm, and staff possessing Texas hospitality offering personalized service. The project was conceptualized with frequent travelers and comfort, value and convenience at top of mind.

The hotel will feature 23 meeting rooms, two hospitality suites and 15 suites in all. J&S Audio Visual will provide dedicated AV staff on site and there is more than $300K in A/V equipment on property. An 11'x18' video wall is located in outdoor courtyard which is fully programmable for video, powerpoint, and logo presentations. Knowledgeable meeting and event professionals can create experiential meetings that can flex between indoor and outdoor spaces and from traditional meeting rooms to their innovation suites with a variety of seating styles.

Three restaurant and bar concepts from Native Texan and James Beard-Award Winning Chef Stephan Pyles (Nation's Restaurant News Menu Masters Lifetime Achievement Award 2017) will take residence at the hotel namely the hotel's 24/7 grab and go market, Provisions 66; Canyon Bar and new outpost of Stampede 66 (Esquire Best New Restaurant 2013).

Guest signature amenities will include free in-room and public space WiFi; free, unlimited water; premium linens; 24 hour grab and go pantry and ample charging stations throughout the hotel and convention center within an arm's reach. Blue Tooth technology is available for guest room locks where doors can be opened via a smartphone app versus a key card.
