Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo celebrated its opening in Costa Rica with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 30. More than 100 special guests gathered at the property to mark the successful completion of its multi-million-dollar rebranding. The 120-room destination resort is located on a Blue Flag Certified ecological beach in the Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica, just minutes from some of the area's best attractions.

Throughout the ribbon-cutting celebration, attendees enjoyed light bites and tropical drinks from the resort's new dining concepts, including 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, along with live entertainment. A program of remarks featured D'oñas, along with Carlos J. Rodriguez, Chairman & CEO of Driftwood Acquisitions & Development, which owns the resort, and Rick Cunningham, Vice President of Hotel Development for Margaritaville.
