Chartwell Hospitality Breaks Ground on SpringHill Suites at McEwen Northside Near Downtown Franklin, Tennessee
Chartwell Hospitality LLC, an integrated hotel operations and development company, announced the groundbreaking of the 150-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Franklin's Cool Springs neighborhood. The property is the hotel component of McEwen Northside, a thoughtfully planned walkable mixed-use project to include retail offerings, office space and multi-family residences. Construction on the all-suite hotel is expected to be completed by spring 2020.

Catering to business travelers, the hotel will offer outdoor patio seating, flexible meeting spaces and expansive guest suites. The property will also feature the brand's new exclusive furniture and decor collection from West Elm, providing unique and modern designs for the hotel's lobby and guest rooms. Each suite is designed to be multifunctional, providing a space for a relaxing getaway or tackling a big project in the in-suite workspace. The SpringHill Suites by Marriott will also feature free Wi-Fi, a fitness center and an on-site bar with a full selection of handpicked wines, local craft beers and light bites.
In addition to the five-story hotel, the McEwen Northside development will include approximately 750,000 square feet of Class A office space, 100,000 square feet of restaurants and specialty retail, 580 luxury apartment and upward of 10 acres of beautifully designed green spaces to seamlessly connect the community with the hotel serving at the epicenter of the inviting 45-acre mixed-use environment.
