citizenM coming to San Francisco's Union Square in 2020
citizenM is planning to open its first California hotel in 2020. CitizenM San Francisco Union Square, a 12-story building located at 72 Ellis Street, will be the first of three locations in the Bay Area. The 195-room, 130-foot-tall hotel will feature a rooftop public space, a large lobby area, outdoor terraces, and 1,200 sf of privately owned public open space. Amenities include a fitness center, meeting space, and 6,100 sf of varied retail uses on its ground floor and mezzanine.
