Dubai Says Bon Soir to St. Trop Which Brings a Slice of French Riviera to DIFC

A new rooftop lounge has opened in the centre of DIFC offering a stylish nightspot for city dwellers. Located on the 18th floor of the new Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, St. Trop brings al fresco chic and a flavour of je ne sais quoi elegance to the UAE's night scene, combining a relaxed yet classy vibe with an energetic soundtrack offset by the dynamic backdrop of Dubai's ever-changing skyline.

Guests will immediately take in the sweeping views of the city as they arrive for cocktail hour where they can kick back and settle in to linger a while. With sea colours complementing the nautical timber decking and a uniquely aquatic vibe illustrated throughout the venue, the atmosphere echoes the air of St. Tropez where life is effortlessly cool and elegantly chic.

An oasis in the heart of the city, the contemporary new rooftop lounge is set to become the new pied a terre for DIFC's busy movers and shakers who appreciate a vibrant, sophisticated and lively venue post-work.

Victor Chalfoun, General Manager, Waldorf Astoria DIFC, said, "Our mission for St. Trop is to create a space which combines the elegance of the South of France but with an undeniable Middle East backdrop. The expansive views from the heart of Dubai blend with the classic French design elements offering an evening ambience which is ideal for the DIFC set."

Inspired by Chef Luigi Vespero, the Executive Chef at Waldorf Astoria DIFC, the Mediterranean-infused menu with regional accents is a guaranteed elevated culinary experience. The menu has been created to offer starters including Dibba Bay oysters in a selection of mignonette (apple, shallots, bloody Mary), steak tartare a la maison and Osetra caviar. Mains feature delicacies such as flame-grilled wagyu beef with sauce ravigotte and gremolata, crispy octopus with smoked piquillo peppers and lemon emulsion and pissaladiere, a traditional dish from Nice, France, served with braised onions, marinated anchovies and Kalamata olives. A dessert menu features delicious sweet treats like savarin au citron, a limoncello with Onalys whipped ganache and berries, and gateau au fromage, a Valrhona chocolate cheesecake "Magnum."

St. Trop will be managed by a stellar team of professionals providing creative flair and impeccable service to guests, while expert mixologists will ensure the creation of exceptional, high-quality beverages for guests, all set to a vibrant musical backdrop from resident DJs.

Located on the 18th floor of Waldorf Astoria DIFC, St. Trop is open to hotel guests exclusively during the day and to the public from 6:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. daily.
