Tru by Hilton Naperville

Naperville City Council members Tuesday approved plans for the four-story, 56,400-square-foot Tru by Hilton hotel. Once built, it will be the city's 20th hotel.

The property at 1809 W. Diehl Road is currently vacant and a planned unit development plan for the property was approved in 2007.

According information on the company's website, the brand of hotels offers amenities like a 24/7 market with local and gourmet snacks, drinks, wine and beer, and a build-your-own breakfast bar.

Tru by Hilton hotels also have fitness centers with exercise equipment like resistance bands, free weights, cardio and flexibility gear, and a fitness center tablet that offers workout ideas. Guest rooms will have features like a mini-fridge, hardwood-like floors and stocked bath products.
