Hilton announced the opening of Conrad Hangzhou Tonglu, a new hillside resort with 79 spacious suites, including 11 villas. The hotel offers a natural haven nestled beside the picturesque Fenshui Tianxi Lake in Tonglu. Guests will be inspired by the hotel's exceptional amenities, premier dining experiences and natural elements incorporated into its design. The latest addition to the Conrad Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Hilton's smart luxury brand, Conrad Hangzhou Tonglu is owned by China Capital Investment Group and managed by Hilton.

Conrad Hangzhou Tonglu is located along the famous scenic travel route that encompasses West Lake, Fuchun River and Qiandao Lake. The nature of Tonglu has captivated many generations of visitors with the natural beauty of Tianxi Lake, where they can take relaxing walks or go for an easy jog on a wooden boardwalk along its shore, offering something new to discover each season. The nearby Chaoyang Village has many historic sights to explore with its iconic gingko trees and ancient streets. The resort is accessible from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International airport, located 150 kilometres away, and the Tonglu Railway Station, which is 45 kilometres away.

In pursuit of harmony between nature and architecture, the hotel's design draws inspiration from the surrounding mountains, lakes and plants, with elements woven seamlessly into the hotel landscaping and interior design. The local ginkgo tree, for instance, is represented in thoughtful details throughout the resort and used as a recurring design motif on interior walls, fully immersing guests in nature and tranquillity.

The 79 expansive guest rooms include 73 square meters of living space at a minimum, each with a large balcony that opens to views of the lake. For added privacy, guests may opt for a villa with a swimming pool. Conrad Hangzhou Tonglu also offers a 10-suite freestanding building, ideal for groups who seek exclusivity. Each guest room is designed as a modern sanctuary to immerse guests in peace and comfort, accentuated with interiors that feature natural materials such as wood, glass and stone in palettes of rich cream, light pine and soft earth tones.
