The 69-key hotel is located on West Franklin Street, amidst the destination's best restaurants, bars and retail offerings and a short walk from the nearby Cameron-McCauley Historic District and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. Designed to celebrate both the university's esteemed academic and athletic legacy and the state's bountiful natural resources, Graduate Chapel Hill will offer inviting communal workspace, Carolina inspired guest rooms and forthcoming food and beverage concept Trophy Room.

Created for travelers who seek memory-making journeys, Graduate Hotels is a thoughtfully crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored cities across the country. Each property celebrates and commemorates the optimistic energy of its community, while offering an extended retreat to places that often play host to the best days of our lives.

Design throughout common spaces is uniquely Carolina, contrasting distinct textures and hues that celebrate the state's oceans and mountains with spirited nods to Tar Heel excellence throughout. Eclectic wallpaper and mismatched prints establish a creative energy in the lobby, made complete with eye-catching design details such as Carolina Blue ceilings and a hanging model airplane, in homage to North Carolina's title as "First in Flight." Making a statement upon arrival, the front desk is designed as the scoreboard from the iconic Tar Heel victory against Georgetown in the 1982 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship game. Depicting 17 seconds remaining on the shot clock, the scoreboard invites Carolina fans to reminisce on Michael Jordan's legendary game-winning shot. Beyond the lobby, an atrium looks down upon a Carolina basketball court replica. Stuffed basketballs will be available for guests and visitors to take a shot.

Building upon the dual identity established in the lobby, guest rooms take inspiration from the Neoclassical architecture showcased throughout the historic University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. Nearby architectural and natural influences are subtly incorporated throughout design, ranging from Old Well lamps to Oak Leaf sconces. Bold plaids and blue hues are layered within the space and complemented with statement nods to UNC's storied basketball program, including reclaimed basketball court flooring and basketball backboard headboards.

Opening later this fall, Graduate Chapel Hill will offer Trophy Room, a signature Graduate Hotels food and beverage concept rooted in nostalgia, serving up classic American dishes with a youthful spin. Located directly adjacent to the hotel's lobby, Trophy Room will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor seating along Chapel Hill's Franklin Street.

With more than 2,400 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, Graduate Chapel Hill offers a variety of distinct settings to host groups of up to 175 guests.
