The Fort Worth Stockyards and Marriott's Autograph Collection Hotels are pleased to announce that Hotel Drover is set to open in early 2021. Located just steps away from the new, award-winning Mule Alley district, Hotel Drover embodies rustic-luxe design through its modern hacienda decor while honoring the historical past of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Hotel Drover's unparalleled location and historical intrigue will introduce guests to the rich history of the Texas cattle trade and will celebrate its connection to the National Historic District's unique culture, shopping, architecture, entertainment, and nightlife.

Hotel Drover will offer 200 rooms and suites for guests to return to after a day of exploration. From cozy guest rooms, oversized soaking tubs, and fireplace suites to modern bunkhouse rooms and vintage-inspired retreats, all rooms offer an elevated and authentic Texas-style ambience. Hotel Drover rooms include world-class and dream-inducing beds with luxury sheets, down comforters, Los Poblanos organic bath amenities, wet bars, and more. Located on Mule Alley fronting Marine Creek, the high-end resort enjoys over two acres of outdoor living space, including a beautiful pool, flagstone courtyards, multiple water features, fire pits, music stage, and outdoor games.

In the late 1800s, on their long journeys moving cattle to market along the Chisholm Trail, Fort Worth was one of many stops for the drovers and their teams. With business booming in the early 1900s and railroads making their way west, the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Swift and Armour meatpacking plants became known as the Wall Street of the West. Hotel Drover celebrates this rich history and lore with its inviting design and core value of excellent service. The hotel embodies the same pioneering spirit and key principles of honor and dignity exemplified by the drovers and great cattlemen and women during this time.

With over 12,000 square feet of meeting space, including the picturesque Legacy Hall with its private balconies overlooking Marine Creek and Mule Alley, and the elegant event Barn along with meeting rooms and spaces for gatherings of all kinds, Hotel Drover crafts event experiences that merge elements of the old and the new into a seamless expression of Western charm and modern Fort Worth ambiance.

Shoppers do not have to travel far to get their fix at Hotel Drover. With two one-of-a-kind stores located in the resort, guests have easy access to extraordinary treasures. A true bespoke experience store, the Lucchese Custom Collection at Hotel Drover will offer custom and made-to-fit boots and accessories available only at this location. Little White Lies is a beautiful, hand-curated artisan shop with a decidedly feminine yet rustic flare. This charming boutique features a specially selected collection of limited-edition and carefully curated apparel, jewelry, bags, travel accessories, and distinct gifts.

Mule Alley, anchored by Hotel Drover, is home to Provender Hall, Shake Shack, Lucchese, MB Mercantile & Supply, American Paint Horse Association's flagship experience, Biscuit Bar, Cowtown Winery, and Simpli.fi national headquarters. Mule Alley will soon welcome additional retail and restaurants, including King Ranch Saddle Shop, Proper Supply Co. featuring Stetson premier products, Second Rodeo Brewing Co., Sidesaddle Saloon, and Wrangler.

As they gear up for opening, Hotel Drover is dedicated to the safety and well-being of its team and guests. All staff is trained on CDC guidelines regarding personal hygiene and safety during COVID-19. Staff members' temperatures are checked daily and every measure is taken to ensure guests' safety.
