The Cloudveil, an Autograph Collection Hotel — Photo by Marriott

Set to open spring 2021 on Jackson's historic Town Square, The Cloudveil, an Autograph Collection hotel, will draw upon the town's signature Western style, while bringing understated luxury and a refined, yet relaxed sensibility to the valley. Rooted in the destination, people, and soul of Jackson Hole, The Cloudveil name gives both a nod to the Cloudveil Dome within the Teton Range, while also invoking the veil of clouds lifting to reveal the transformational journey guests will undoubtedly embark on as they experience the natural wonder and enduring character of Jackson Hole. The Cloudveil will also join Marriott International's diverse and exciting Autograph Collection portfolio of more than 190 independent properties across the globe, which are each distinct in design, character and charm, and all Exactly Like Nothing Else.

Located at the gateway to the Grand Teton National Park, one hour south of Yellowstone National Park, and in the center of the town's boutique shops, restaurants, galleries, and more, The Cloudveil aims to capture a true sense of place and offer a modern sanctuary inspired by the organic elements of its locale. The property will boast 100 guest rooms and suites; a bistro-style restaurant and bar; an expansive rooftop terrace overlooking Jackson's Town Square and Snow King Mountain; a tranquil outdoor pool and garden; a state-of-the-art fitness center; and 7,500 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting and event space featuring fireplaces, fire pits, and spectacular views, all designed with the destination in mind.

Essential to this goal is the design by award-winning interior designers TruexCullins and architectural firms CLB and the IBI Group. Embodying Jackson Hole's history and natural setting steeped in adventure, wellness and exploration, the team paired unexpected contrasts often found in Jackson. Distressed finishes are balanced with polished surfaces; textured oil paintings sit alongside sharp, crisp photography; and large swashes of bright saturated colors are grounded by the warm earthy tones which surround it. Leveraging raw, natural materials to create a connection to the local landscape, the lobby will showcase a spacious open layout with modern wood and stone finishes, custom ambient lighting and natural textures throughout. With a larger-than-life three-story rock wall and oversized wood burning fireplace anchored by a three-thousand-pound boulder front desk, the lobby will also serve as a place for social gathering and connection, as well as offer ample workspace. Similar to the lobby, The Cloudveil's guest rooms and suites will offer a warm, neutral palette - reflective of the hotel's surrounding mountains and parks - and adorned with custom wood and leather furnishings, a fireplace and mountain-inspired artwork from Jackson Hole natives.

Acclaimed restaurateur Gavin Fine of Fine Dining Restaurant Group will helm all of the culinary offerings at the hotel, bringing a casual, yet refined bistro menu and an expansive raw bar to Jackson's Town Square where guests and locals can expect European-style outdoor dining amidst the area's iconic mountain vistas. The Cloudveil's expansive open-air rooftop terrace will offer ongoing community programming such as daybreak yoga and meditation, live music, and stargazing. With endless, year-round adventures easily accessible from the hotel, The Cloudveil will offer curated itineraries and excursions through local partners including hiking in the Tetons, fly fishing on the Snake River, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, boarding, snowshoeing, and beyond.
