First Hotel of the Arts in Madison Area Opens
Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham, which will be known locally as Hotel of the Arts, officially opened Dec. 21. The modern, custom-designed boutique hotel located at 2810 Coho St. has four stories and 85 rooms.
Construction cost $10 million, with the groundbreaking taking place in September 2019. Built by National Construction, the 37,571-square foot building has features geared toward the technologically minded millennial customer with community spaces and a bar for work and socialization.
The guest rooms feature custom, contemporary designs, artwork by renowned designer Nicolas Cascarano, 50-in. LG TVs and USB charging ports. Amenities include high-speed WiFi, a breakfast area, an indoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center and shuttle service.
