Quest Apartment Hotels announce 75-room hotel in Truganina

Australasia's largest serviced apartment operator Quest Apartment Hotels has today announced plans for a 75-toom hotel in Truganina, a quickly growing neighbourhood 22km west of the Melbourne CBD in the City of Wyndham.

Located on the corner of Leakes Road and Palmers Road, Quest Truganina will be the first hotel delivered in the suburb.

Wyndham is one of the largest and fastest growing municipalities in Australia, with a population of over 280,000 that's tipped to exceed half a million by 2041[1].

About 40 minutes' drive from both Geelong and Melbourne, Truganina is currently home to over 20,000 people and 1,500 registered businesses [2], with the suburb anticipated to employ around 23,000 people by 2031 [3].

While Quest has several established apartment hotels in Melbourne's outer west, Shields says requirement continues to increase parallel to economic growth and investment.

Part of a mixed-use development by Abraham Cohen, Quest Truganina will provide a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, occupying four of the building's six levels, plus ground floor reception, conference facility, business lounge and gymnasium.

Wyndham City's Destination Wyndham portfolio holder, Cr Heather Marcus, welcomed the announcement by Quest Apartment Hotels.

Construction is set to commence in the second half of 2022 and is slated for completion in late-2023.
