citizenM downtown Austin planned for 2023

A parking lot in the heart of downtown Austin is being transformed into a 17-story luxury hotel.  The project at Colorado and Seventh streets has broken ground and is expected to open in 2023 as a 344-room citizenM hotel. The project is one of a number of high-rises that are currently planned, under construction or recently completed in downtown Austin, an area undergoing a building boom that hasn't abated despite the coronavirus pandemic.
