Hilton Garden Inn Debuts in Japan with the Opening of Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo Karasuma

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo Karasuma, marking the first Hilton Garden Inn in Japan, in the heart of Kyoto. 

Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo Karasuma is located in central Kyoto, only three minutes from Kyoto Station by subway and a four-minute walk from the Shijo and Gojo subway stations. The property is close to popular tourist attractions such as Gion, a tourist-favorite with its high concentration of traditional wooden machiya merchant houses, as well as Nijo Castle, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the best surviving examples of palace architecture from Japan's feudal era. Situated within walking distance of shopping areas such as Nishiki Market and the business district, the hotel serves as a convenient base for both leisure and business travelers.

The nine-storey, 250-room hotel features comfortable guest rooms combining traditional Japanese elements with modern sensibilities. The hotel offers nine types of guest rooms, ranging from functional standard 20 to 23-square meter layouts for up to two people, to 57-square meter premium family rooms that can accommodate up to six people comfortably.

Guests will have access to a variety of amenities and services, including complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a self-service laundry facility, a fitness center, and The Shop, where local snacks, beverages, coffee, and other items are available 24 hours a day.

At the all-day dining restaurant, Together & Co., guests can enjoy both western and Japanese cuisines that feature Kyoto's seasonal ingredients from breakfast to dinner, all in a vibrant and relaxing space that foster social interactions.
